PRECAUTIONS FOR CONJUNCTIVITIS
Do not touch or rub infected eye(s).
Do not touch the unaffected eye after touching the affected eye.
Wash hands often with soap and warm water.
Wash any discharge from your eyes twice a day using a fresh cotton ball or paper towel. Afterwards, discard the cotton ball and wash your hands with soap and warm water. Use hand sanitiser if possible.
Apply drops regularly as prescribed.
Use tissues instead of handkerchief.
Wash your bed linens, pillowcases, and towels in hot water and detergent.
Avoid wearing eye makeup.
Wear glasses instead of contact lenses. Do not wear contact lens when you have a red eye.
Avoid sharing common articles such as unwashed towels, cups, and glasses.
Avoid socialization as much as possible.
Stay indoors as much as possible , avoid exposure to wind and dust.
Wash your hands after applying the eye drops or ointment to your eye or your child's eye.
Do not use eye drops in a non-infected eye that were used for an infected one
